About Melody

Melody Wu was born in the United States, and spent four years in Shanghai, China. She is an alumni of the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA). Wu has received awards and honors from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, College Board, The Art of Conservation, Celebrating Art, and more. She has had her work exhibited multiple times at the South Coast Plaza, Orange County Fair, and the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. Wu uses art to critique flawed political systems, pressing humanitarian crises, and cultural taboos. The primary art medium she employs is oil paint; however, she also engages in techniques like printmaking and mixed media.

 

Currently, she is attending Stanford University, where she majors in Economics and Psychology, with a minor in Art.
